Job Description

We are looking for an associate to help us build out our world’s leading under-represented focused venture Studio. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a founding team member at one of the most ambitious and impactful firms in the venture industry.

We are ideally looking for Associates who will have a strong interest in developing their career in Tech focused Venture Studio.

Responsibilities:

• Build new relationships with emerging entrepreneurs.
• Working with the rest of the team to build insightful analytics on portfolio companies.
• Support investment due diligence, analysis and decision-making process.
• Deal screening: call and/or meet with prospects, evaluate opportunities
• Building financial models and project plans.
• Provide various support for our portfolio companies
• Produce commentary and reports to tell the story behind models
• Business partner the investment team as well as IR as their “go to” analytics person and seeking to add value where possible

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in investing; product management, operations or technology at a leading Startup or tech company, Investment Banking or Venture Capital
• A passion for tech, its application and building businesses.
• A combination of analytical, financial, and clear communication skills.
• Excellent Project Management or Programme Management Skills
• Self-starter, capable of sourcing and executing projects independently
• Excellent communication skills; adept at writing analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
• Happy and comfortable in a reasonably autonomous role that would support all lifecycle of a Startup
• You are team-oriented and ambitious

Education

• A bachelor’s degree, MBA or MS (preferred)
